After a hard competition in Rhodes, Greece – we are excited to announce that Matt has come home as the WKU World Kumite Champion (under 90kg)!<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

As you will have noticed, Matt has spent most of this year preparing for the WKU World Championships in Rhodes, Greece, after winning the English title back in 2023. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

With huge thanks to the support from Oubaitori Karate Club, and his sponsors (Compare the Market, Airport Arrivals Peterborough, and evaluagent) Matt has come back as the 18-34 year old (-90kg) WKU World Kumite Champion, and the under 85kg World Silver Medalist. Matt also competed in Kata and Hardstyle Forms, where he placed a respectable 7th.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
